Hello SMB Deal Hunters!
I’m excited to share 5 new deals worth checking out.
Today’s issue is sponsored by Acquire.com, the largest startup acquisition marketplace for profitable Internet businesses.
1/ Patented eCommerce Brand in the Outdoor Drainage Vertical
📍 Location: Remote
💰 Asking Price: $2,200,000
💼 Cash Flow: $495,241
📊 Revenue: $ 1,472,472
📅 Established: 2018
💭 My 2 Cents: This brand sells a proprietary line of outdoor plastic drainage products, along with their stainless-steel linear bathroom drains. They have 250 patent-protected and trademarked SKUs with a very impressive AOV of between $150 and $400. On top of selling DTC on their website and on Amazon, they have distribution in Home Depot and Lowes, which speaks to their product quality and reputation. MAJOR growth opportunity: 100% of their marketing has been organic, but with their AOV there is a major opportunity to scale up with paid advertising.

2/ Established Plumbing Business
📍 Location: Moreland Hills, OH
💰 Asking Price: $1,300,000
💼 Cash Flow: $620,000
📊 Revenue: N/A
📅 Established: 2006
💭 My 2 Cents: Holy crap, this plumbing business in the suburbs of Cleveland is selling for just over 2x its annual cash flow because the owner needs to relocate! I like that the plumbing business is an essential service with year-round demand. Plus, it often comes with service contracts and repeat customers. What’s great about this business is it already has a manager that is overseeing day-to-day operations as well as an existing crew of technicians.

3/ Highly Profitable Marketing, Print, Promotion & Direct Mail Biz
📍 Location: Baltimore City County, MD
💰 Asking Price: $1,300,000
💼 Cash Flow: $728,738
📊 Revenue: N/A
📅 Established: 1979
💭 My 2 Cents: This Minuteman Press franchise has been family owned and operated for over 40 years. The owner is retiring, and the business is selling at a VERY attractive multiple of 1.8x its annual cash flow (which is just nuts). This business designs and prints postcards, business cards, flyers, mailers, signs, promotional products, etc. What I like about this business is it likely has built up a strong customer base and reputation from its many years in business.

In Partnership With Acquire.com
Here’s My Secret Weapon for Finding Profitable Internet Businesses
Reviewing new deals on the Acquire.com platform is part of my weekly deal sourcing workflow (and it should be part of yours too).
Acquire.com is the largest marketplace of vetted internet businesses for sale, including SaaS businesses, agencies, e-Commerce stores, mobile apps, and even Shopify apps.
What I like about Acquire.com is that many of the deals are listed by sellers themselves without a broker.
Plus, you can see the real-time financial, web, and customer metrics of these businesses, which provides a preliminary level of due diligence.
While joining is free, I’ve personally been subscribed to the Platinum plan for well over a year now, which gives me access to deals with over $250,000 in TTM revenue.

4/ SBA Pre-Qualified Patio Furniture Business
📍 Location: Hillsborough County, NH
💰 Asking Price: $6,419,000
💼 Cash Flow: $1,667,279
📊 Revenue: $8,968,564
📅 Established: 2006
💭 My 2 Cents: This business sells private label and premium brands of outdoor furniture via DTC (40% of revenue), B2B wholesale (40% of revenue), and through its retail showroom in California (20% of revenue). The company was recently nominated for the ICFA Apollo award for best casual furniture store in the USA, which speaks to its strong reputation. I like the diversification in its sales channels and that the business comes with a dedicated team. Plus, I think their marketplace model sets them up for continued growth with additional brand partnerships.

5/ Profitable, Remote CRM Integrator - Salesforce & HubSpot Customization
📍 Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote & relocatable)
💰 Asking Price: $3,500,000
💼 EBITDA: $680,000
📊 Revenue: $1,948,670
📅 Established: 2019
💭 My 2 Cents: Salesforce and Hubspot are the two largest CRM softwares in the world, and this business helps companies optimize their CRM functionality to tailor these softwares to their needs. I like that they have a strong reputation, having worked with notable brands including Adobe, Ford, Greenhouse, and Twilio. This is a very high-margin B2B service business (35% EBITDA margins!) with strong YoY growth, two things I always like to look for. Plus, I like that the business has a full team in place. I’m curious if they work with the majority of their clients on a retainer basis since this would mean a lot of recurring revenue.
